Spinach Dip

Ingredients

• 1 (16 oz) container sour cream
• 1 cup mayonnaise
• ½ (10 oz) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained
• 1 (4 oz) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
• 1 (1.8 oz) package dry leek soup mix
• 1 (1 lb) round sourdough loaf

Method

   Mix and chill: Stir sour cream, mayonnaise, spinach, water chestnuts, and dry soup mix in a bowl until combined. Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.

   Bread bowl: Cut the top off the sourdough and hollow out the soft interior, leaving a firm shell. Spoon the chilled dip into the bread bowl. Tear the removed bread into pieces for dipping.
